Caden Ritchie is an American photographer, collector, and private archivist based out of Williamsburg, VA. An undergraduate history student at The College of William & Mary, Caden's work strives to create a representation of war from a conceptual and subjective perspective, using the combination of physical ephemera, period photographic styles, and artistic license to construct narrative. Caden's obsession for accuracy as a collector and historian carries over into his work, and his projects seek to blur the line between original materials and recreated images to create a sense of timeless continuity.
Selections of Caden's work have been exhibited in the William & Mary Andrews Gallery 2025 & 2026 Non-Major Show and 2025 Photo II Exhibition, The Muscarelle Museum of Art's 2024 Student Photo Competition exhibit at The Stryker Center, and at the William & Mary Hart Gallery as part of the show "Handmade:" a collaboration with the Ampersand International Arts Festival.
